Markers help researchers insert text notes for easy recall while reviewing a session recording. They make it easy to switch between key observations, add notes, and quickly return to specific Marker timestamps during analysis.

## **Add a Marker**

To add a Marker while reviewing a session recording:

1. Open the session report and start video playback.
2. Open the **Markers** tab.
3. Click **Add a Marker**.
4. Pause the recording at the timestamp where you want to add a marker.
5. Enter your note or observation in form of text.
6. *(Optional)* Add one or more tags to help organise your markers.
7. Click **Save Note**.

The marker is added to both the **video timeline** and the **Markers** panel, allowing you to quickly navigate back to important moments during your analysis.

**Tip:** Use descriptive notes and relevant tags to make it easier to search for and review key insights later.
