Bookmark option becomes available once recording starts. Use **Bookmarks** to mark important moments during an interview, making it easy to return to key events when reviewing the session recording.

## **Insert Bookmarks**

To add a bookmark during a session:

1. Start the session recording.
2. Click the **Bookmark** (⭐) button on the session toolbar.
3. A bookmark is instantly added to the current recording timestamp, and a confirmation message is displayed.

If your study contains multiple tasks, bookmarks can also be used to separate different task sections or mark notable participant actions, comments, or reactions.

**Note:** Bookmarks cannot be added before recording starts.

## **View Bookmarks in the Session Recording**

After the session has ended, all saved bookmarks appear as **purple markers** along the video playback timeline.

You can use these markers to:

- Jump directly to important moments in the recording.
- Quickly navigate between bookmarked sections.
- Review key participant actions or discussion points without manually searching through the entire recording.

This makes it easier to revisit important insights and navigate long session recordings efficiently.
