- You can choose to either start:
  - <span style="color: #0747a6">User Interview (1:1 interview, Dyads or Triads)</span>: 1 Participant (Dyad: 2, Triad: 3 participants)
  - <span style="color: #0747a6">Focus Group</span>: Multiple participants, up to 10

A Session can only be started by a UXArmy account holder.

By clicking on the “Start a Session” button inside a Study / Project view, the Moderator can start a Session anytime. This is irrespective of the scheduled time for the Session.

To be able to run the session without hassle, following must be ensured by the Moderator:

1. Start the session using Google Chrome Browser on a computer
2. Turn off any restrictive VPN or firewall.
3. Ensure that the Observers' and Participant links have been distributed
4. Session has been started at least 8 - 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Some people really like to join early :)

The person who starts the Session gets the Moderator Role automatically. For every one else to be able to join a session, Moderator must have started the session.

> ℹ️ Please note that all the attendees can only join the session **after **the Moderator (who created the session) has started the session.
