This guide will explain how to create a Survey on UXArmy, from start till launch.


Introducing the <span style="color: #0747a6">Survey Creation Board</span>, with 4 parts:

1. Top: Overall Survey settings and controls, Comment, Preview & Launch buttons
2. Left: List of questions
3. Middle: Where you write/edit the individual survey questions
4. Right: Selection of survey question types available

Creating Survey questions for Participants to complete (Your Survey Objectives):

- To create a question, select a question type, edit the question details, and select options to apply to the question
- On the right side of the Survey Creation Board, we have our menu of survey question types – after adding a question, click on a block to choose the question type you require (e.g A simple yes/no question to kick-off the survey)

If you change your mind about the type of question you want to use, click on another block to change the question type. All content (images, links etc.) that you have added will be removed, except for the question that you have typed out.

To redirect participants to specific web pages on **Completion** and **Quota Full**, open the Participants tab, switch on the “Redirect URLs” toggle, and add your URLs. For more details, click [Learn more](https://uxarmy.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NF/pages/342556674).

If you wish to use the survey you have designed as a template for future use, click on “<span style="color: #0747a6">Survey Settings</span>” on the top left to find the option. You can customize the survey message here too.

Collaborate or get feedback from your team on your survey with the Comments feature.

- Working with a team? Need feedback or a place to write notes about your survey questions? With Comments you can tag team members to direct comments to them, label comments by priority and even mark them as resolved.

Preview pre-launch

- Preview your survey to do final checks for any errors, and view the survey from a participant’s perspective
- You can also share a preview link to team members and stakeholders to get their feedback on the survey before launch

Selecting your survey participants

- When you click “Go Live”, a pop-up will appear. you will be able to edit participant information

- With UXArmy, you can choose to send the surveys to your own participants.


> ℹ️ You can also send them to UXArmy panelists,** in the near future.**

Once you’ve completed all final checks and selected the number of participants you need, launch the survey and get ready for the exciting insights to show up in your report!
