On UXArmy you can test Live and under development mobile apps (even if on TestFlight and Google Play as beta). No code changes or SDK integration is needed in the mobile app.

UXArmy platform offer the unique option of testing your app, competition app and Figma prototype design within one user test. You can also test Android and iOS apps within a single test.

Since app experience varies by device i.e. phone and tablet, the UXArmy platform offers an option to usability test for one of the specific device types. You can create duplicate tests to be able to

The mobile app testing is available under Advanced Unmoderated testing testing and provides you with end-to-end recording. For security reasons, the Android and Apple iOS operating systems restrict user interactions to the app which is in the foreground (being shown to the user). Therefore it is not technically feasible to capture the points of user interactions, CTAs, hovers and navigation paths.

Alongside end-to-end recording of app test and think-aloud during the test, usability metrics like time on task are captured and shown in the test report.

For usability testing of websites on mobile, your participants are required to install the UserAdvocate App on their mobile devices.

This option to create a test for usability testing of mobile apps is highlighted in the image below.
