Before launching your test, it’s recommended to do a **dry run** to ensure everything works correctly (tasks, links, logic, messages, etc.). Dry run is testing on a real device e.g. a phone or computer before launching your test. This method is superior than the test Preview in which Website or App is not shown.

UXArmy allows you to test internally using **Pooled credits**.

## **How UXArmy Credits Work**

UXArmy operates on a **credit-based system**:

- Each response consumes credits
- **Free trial includes limited free responses** for testing
- You can use these for **dry runs before launching your study**
- Additional responses can be added using **[pooled credits](https://help.uxarmy.com/space/general/196771866/Pooled+Credits)**

> ℹ️ If you intend to test with your own testers, do not forget to add more response slots for you and your team members to do the dry run.

## **Method 1: Use one Self-sourced Participant in your Test**

- Set the number of responses needed
- Launch the test to generate the **active test link**
- Share the link with your team
- Your team completes the test as participants

 Best for: **Quick internal validation before launch.**

Click on the link “Test Setup requirements” to understand what your participants would need to take the test.

## **Method 2: Duplicate your Test**

Since UXArmy offers unlimited tests, duplicate your test and try the test response on the duplicate Test instead.

- Click on the **three dots → Duplicate Test**
- Use the duplicated version for testing
- Launch and share the test link internally

 This ensures your original test remains fully editable and you can make changes to it based on feedback and learning from the dry run.
