You can randomise tasks or re-arrange task sequences in your study. Our platform is designed to provide our users with a great array of task customization for each individual task.
### **Shuffle**
Click on the 3 dots icon next to the tasks you want to randomise and toggle on “Shuffle this task”. Tasks with the shuffle setting turned on will be shown to the testers randomly. Randomizing certain the order of certain tasks could reduce the chance of having biased responses from participants, due to the certain sequencing of the tasks.
> ℹ️ If you create task groups, you can also shuffle the entire group. The group will be treated as one task. All tasks inside a group will be shown in a fixed order.
### **Rearranging**
Drag and drop tasks to rearrange them.
### **Deleting **
Click on the 3 dots icon next to the tasks you want to delete.
### **Grouping**
Do you have several questions to add as a follow up to a task? Do you have a series of question tasks that you want to organise together?
You can group navigation tasks such as Prototype, Website, iOS App & Android App tasks with question tasks or group several question tasks together to keep your tasks neatly organised together in your preferred test flow.
To group tasks:
- In the left panel, click Select
- Tick the checkboxes of the tasks you want to group together
When you’re ready to group tasks, click the Select button to select the tasks which would be in a Group.
> ℹ️ If you create task groups, the group will be treated as 1 task. All tasks inside a group will be shown in a fixed order.

You can duplicate the whole Group or ungroup your tasks if needed.
