There are two types of participants. 

i) Your Own Participants: These are sourced by you or it could be you or your colleague who is doing a Dry-run. These participants use a test link to take the Test. After you launch your test, the link is available under Test → Participants → Self-sourced participants

ii) External Participants: Those who are invited by the UXArmy. These participants can belong to UXArmy Panel (also called UserAdvocate Panelists) or other partner providers. These participants shall receive a Test invitation email / other means of communication via the UXArmy / Partner Panel System.
