It is **not needed to login **for all Tests that are meant to be taken on a Computer.

> ℹ️ If you are an **UserAdvocate registered in the UserAdvocate panel**, please check you email inbox for Test Invitations. Open the invitation and click on the link provided to begin the user study.

> ℹ️ For **other testers**, proceed with the Test Link you have received.

Computer test can be of 2 types.

i) For website / design prototype tests that need screen recording:

You will be directed to install an Google Chrome extension on your Chrome browser. This test can only be taken on a Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser.

ii) For Browser-based tests:

These tests can be taken on any browser installed on your computer. If screen recording is enabled, your browser will prompt you for providing the necessary permissions. 


Your test may have a Screener. A Screener is a set of questions needed to check whether your profile meets the criteria the Test is looking for. The starting point of a Screener is shown below.

Here is how to add the Google Chrome extension:

### <span style="color: #0747a6">**Removing UserAdvocate Extension From Google Chrome**</span>

First, navigate to the three-dot menu on the top right of your Google Chrome browser.

You should see 'Extensions' in the menu, and after hovering on that, you should see 'Manage Extensions'.

After clicking on 'Manage Extensions', you should see all extensions that have been installed on your Google Chrome browser.

You should be able to see a 'Remove' button for you to uninstall the extension.

After clicking on 'Remove', you should see a popup on your top right corner of your browser, near to the extension tab, and confirm to remove the extension.

Alternatively, you can also remove the extension from the bar on the top right directly instead of going to the 'Manage extension' page.
