<span style="color: #0747a6">How long is the free trial?</span>

Our free trial lasts for 7 days. You will need to subscribe to our plan if you need to conduct further research. However, all your past test data will still be available in your account even if the trial has passed.


<span style="color: #0747a6">Is the test editable after it is launched?</span>

After launching the test, all your test setups will not be able to change or modify. However, you still can edit your task instructions, survey questions, and options.

This is to prevent any inconsistency in your result data and affect the system to generate a good analysis of a test. Therefore, we would suggest duplicating your test and having a dry run before sending it out to your participants.


<span style="color: #0747a6">How many participants can I have in a Test?</span>

There's no limitation on the number of participants in a Card Sort and Tree Test.


<span style="color: #0747a6">What's the maximum number of cards I can create in a test?</span>

You can create a maximum of 250 cards in a test.

Depending on the test purpose or the time commitment you have with participants, it is suggested to aim for between 30 and 60 cards.

- **Open card sorting** often uses up to 30 to 50 cards to increase task complexity and induce the depth of thinking and reasoning from testers
- **In closed and hybrid card sorting,** the number of cards could sometimes exceed 60 since testers only need to make simple decisions on whether the card belongs to a particular category

However, keeping the task duration around 10 to 15 minutes and providing testers sufficient instructions on the context and test are things researchers may need to be aware of, in order to prevent testers from feeling fatigued which may affect testers' decisions, further, leading to test result inaccuracy.
