The UXArmy credit and billing system is designed for flexibility and transparency, making it easy to manage your UX research needs. This guide will walk you through our plans, billing cycles, and how to upgrade or cancel your plan, ensuring you have all the information you need to get started with confidence.
## **Pricing & Plans **
Explore UXArmy’s plans, from a Free plan to paid options that offer more features and flexibility. You can easily upgrade based on your team's needs.
### **Free Plan **
- **What You Get**: **15 pooled credits** per month and **1 full seat** to explore UXArmy’s tools with access to Unmoderated usability testing, User Interviews, surveys, card sorting and tree testing. You can collect up to 3 recordings of a usability test responses OR a combination of responses from any of the tools.
- **What You Don’t Get: **Access to UXArmy Panel.
### **Starter Plan ( $29/month) **
- **What You Get:** **29 pooled credits/month** and **1 full seat** to run advanced usability tests (with recordings), Figma tests, interviews, focus groups, surveys, card sorting, and tree testing.
- **What You Don’t Get:** Panel participants are not included—you’ll need to buy **Panel Credits** separately.
Enterprise features like unlimited seats, SSO, custom onboarding require an upgrade to the **Organization Plan**.
- **Flexibility**: Pay-as-you-go billing for any additional usage, keeping your testing seamless
### **Pro Plan ($99/month)**
- **What You Get**:** 99 pooled credits** each month and **3 full seats**, with access to all UXArmy products, including usability testing with and w/o recording, surveys, and Tree Testing. Flexibility to purchase panel credits as an add-on for UXArmy’s participant recruitment.
- Additionally you will get **3 free seats** ([Collaborator Access](https://help.uxarmy.com/space/general/275841029/Collaborator+Role)).
- **Flexibility**: Pay-as-you-go billing ensures uninterrupted testing for any additional usage. You can also increase the number of full seats by one. At $20 per month for additional seat. Additional seat charges will be included in your next billing cycle.
### **Organization Plan (Custom Pricing)**
- **What You Get**: Fully customizable credit allocation based on your organization's needs. Access to the full suite of UXArmy products. Enterprise-level support to ensure smooth project execution.

## **Billing Cycles**
Your subscription is auto-renewed to ensure uninterrupted research. Adding a Credit Card is mandatory for all paid plans, including monthly/yearly Starter/Pro and any Pay-as-you-go charges. If auto-renewal fails, you can pay online via the invoice emailed to you
### **Subscription Billing Cycle**
- **Monthly Plan**: Billed at the start of your cycle, with your pooled credits resetting at the beginning of each cycle (applies to Starter & monthly Pro plans)
- **Yearly Starter/Pro Plan**: Billed upfront for the full year in your cycle, offering better value. Pooled credits are allocated monthly, and any additional pay-as-you-go usage is billed monthly. The subscription is charged annually, is non-refundable, and non-transferable.
- **Organization Plan**: Custom billing terms based on your agreement. Pay-as-you-go is not applicable
### **Pay-as-You-Go Billing Cycle**
**Only available for Monthly and Yearly Starter/Pro Plans**. Any usage beyond your allocated credits is automatically billed to your Credit Card the following month
> ℹ️ **Why Pay-as-You-Go? **
> ℹ️ With this option, you never have to worry about running out of credits mid-project. You can continue your testing seamlessly, and pay for additional usage only when needed!

## **Upgrading or Cancelling Plans Mid-cycle**
When you change your plan, whether you're upgrading or cancelling, here’s how it affects your billing and credits. All changes are handled smoothly to minimize any disruption to your projects.
### Upgrading Your Plan
- **Instant Access**: Upgrades take effect immediately, so you can start using your new plan right away
- **Additional Features:** Upgrading will unlock the extra features of the higher plan, providing more flexibility and tools for your research
### Cancelling Your Plan
- **End-of-Cycle Transition**: When you cancel, the changes will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you can continue using your current plan’s features until then
- **Unused Credits**: Any unused pooled credits will expire at the end of the cycle. Be sure to use them before your plan changes
- **Free Plan After Cancellation**: If you cancel a paid plan, you will be moved to the **Free Plan** once your credits or billing cycle ends. You can continue using your existing paid plan benefits until then
> ℹ️ **IMPORTANT: **Yearly Starter/Pro plan users, please note that canceling your plan midway will make you ineligible for Pay-as-you-go
### Additional Notes
- **No Downgrading**: Downgrading plans is not available. You can cancel your plan and switch to Free plan after your current cycle
- **Account Suspension for Unpaid Charges:** For yearly Starter/Pro plan users, failure to pay your Pay-As-You-Go charges for the previous month will result in your account being temporarily locked. Payment will be auto-renewed, and if unsuccessful, your account will automatically switch to Free Plan mode. Once the payment is completed, your original plan and cycle will be restored
